Geopolitical tensions have led governments to be increasingly concerned about national firms’ collaborators. Firms may reconfigure their global supply chains to comply with foreign policy or to buffer their supply chain resilience against geopolitical risk. The purpose of this study is to investigate the evolution of global supply chains according to geopolitical developments. Implications for supply chain practitioners, policymakers, and global challenges are examined.
